These Terms form an agreement between you and Orviq Technologies, trading as Snap It ("Snap It", "we", "us"), for the Snap It website, account service, and macOS and Windows applications.
Eligibility and acceptance
You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and meet the minimum age required in your country. By creating an account, accepting these Terms, downloading the app, or using Snap It, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and notify contact@hellosnapit.com of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law says otherwise. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material breach.
Licence
Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Snap It on supported devices. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, bypass plan or security controls, remove notices, or use the software to create a competing service through systematic extraction.
Bring your own Gemini key
Every plan requires your own compatible Gemini API key. Your use of Gemini is governed separately by Google. You are responsible for Google quota, billing, project configuration, key security, and provider restrictions. A Snap It subscription does not include Google API usage.
AI guidance and automated actions
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable. Verify important information and results. Snap It is not professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.
Guidance and execution are separate modes. Explicitly authorized features may move the pointer, click, scroll, or type. Remain present, review confirmation prompts, and stop automation if behaviour is unexpected. Do not use automated actions for payments, security changes, destructive operations, regulated decisions, or safety-critical systems unless the product expressly supports that workflow and you independently verify every step.
Plans, free access, and billing
Free access includes 20 lifetime AI responses. Pro is $12 USD per month and includes up to 2,000 Snap It messages per monthly billing period. Ultimate is $20 USD per month and includes unlimited messages subject to fair, lawful use, account-level rate limits, and reasonable technical safeguards. These charges license the Snap It software and do not include AI tokens or Google usage. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Stripe processes payment. A scheduled cancellation normally keeps paid access through the end of the current paid period. Failed, unpaid, incomplete, paused, immediately cancelled, or fully refunded subscriptions return to Free; successful payment restores the purchased plan. Refund rights are described in the Refund Policy and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
Product changes and availability
Snap It is evolving software. Features may differ by operating system, application, model provider, plan, or version. We may change or discontinue features, limits, or supported systems. For material changes to a paid service, we will provide notice where reasonably possible or legally required.
Your content
You retain rights in content you provide. You authorize Snap It and the providers you configure to process that content only as needed to deliver, secure, and support the requested service. You confirm you have the rights and permissions required to process any third-party content you expose to Snap It.
Our intellectual property
Snap It, its software, site, branding, and original assets are owned by Orviq Technologies or its licensors. Except for the licence above, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used to improve Snap It without obligation to you.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not compromise systems, evade authorization, violate privacy, infringe rights, distribute malware, manipulate others, or use Snap It for unlawful or harmful activity.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snap It is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Orviq Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, loss of data, provider charges, or actions taken in reliance on AI output. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Snap It, cancel billing, and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, legal requirement, security threat, or discontinued service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Account deletion and export
You may request account deletion and a portable export of account data we control as described in the Privacy Policy. Some billing, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security records may be retained where required by law or legitimate operational need. Customer Gemini keys, screenshots, audio, prompts, and Gemini responses are not stored in Snap It Cloud in BYOK production mode and therefore are not part of a Snap It export.
Governing terms
Mandatory consumer protections and rights in your home jurisdiction continue to apply. The final governing-law and courts clause will be confirmed with Orviq Technologies' registered jurisdiction before paid public launch; until then, these Terms do not require a consumer to give up protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the app, website, or account email when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, unless law requires another form of consent.
